"You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"

Seattle Musical Theatre's production of this popular musical brings to life all of Schultz's beloved characters. None of the cast is actually six years old (they have all aged appropriately since their 1967 debut), and they don't much resemble their younger selves, but the whole gang is back. Bossy Lucy is hopelessly in love with piano prodigy Schroeder, who doesn't give her the time of day, perfectionist Sally is still mocking blanket-toting Linus, Snoopy is in the doghouse, and 'blockhead" himself, Charlie Brown, is in rare form as we span the months from Valentine's Day to Beethoven Day, with wild optimism coupled with utter despair.
